I'm back from one of the most incredible experiences of my life. Read about it in my blog, Mike Rimar Reason.
I'm going to San Diego for a week (Aug 14 - 21) to attend the Writer's of The Future workshop and the big gala at the end of the week, Al Qaeda be damned. Don't know if I'll blog about it. Maybe if I can find a computer with internet. If if do, you'll find it here at my blog, Mike Rimar Reason.
Read My Blog to find out about BookExpo Canada and click here for some pictures.
Thanks to The Writer's of The Future and Galaxy Press, my wife Kathleen and I are going to BookExpo Canada, at the Toronto Metro Convention Centre. It should be interesting.
Went to Toronto's Science Fiction Convention, Ad Astra, for the first time. It was the 25th anniversary for the Con, which is kind of ironic, since the only Star Trek Con I ever attended was also celebrating their 25th anniversary.
Anyway, my prowess with a digital camera is still lacking, and the majority of my pictures are useless which is sad because most were of the masquerade. I know, I know, you can delete them, but it's my wife's camera and she still had some pictures of the kids on the memory card and I was not going to risk accidently deleting them, and believe me, that's exactly what I'd do.
Here are the few pictures that did work out.
